StatSeed is StatSheet's postseason projections for all of Division I, including the NCAA Tournament, National Invitation Tournament (NIT), College Basketball Invitational (CBI), and the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament (CIT). Read more about how StatSeed is calculated.

StatSheet is now projecting Iona to go to the CBI. The Gaels are sitting at #84 in the StatSheet StatRank with a 14-7 overall record and an 8-2 record in the MAAC.

During the last four games, Iona held its own with wins against Loyola (MD), St. Peter's, and Fairfield but also stumbled with a bad loss to RPI #182 Rider.

Iona has little experience against top competition, with an 0-4 record against the RPI Top 100 that includes an 0-1 record against the RPI Top 50 and no record against AP ranked teams. While the Gaels have no quality wins, they're weighed down by three bad losses including RPI #182 Rider, RPI #274 St. Peter's, and RPI #236 Quinnipiac.

The last four teams into the NCAA Tournament with at-large bids are Maryland (15-5, 3-4 ACC, StatRank #65), Memphis (16-3, 5-0 C-USA, StatRank #50), Rutgers (12-7, 3-5 Big East, StatRank #54), and Arizona State (16-4, 5-2 Pac 12, StatRank #58).

The first four teams out are Alabama (12-7, 4-2 SEC, StatRank #69), Brigham Young (16-6, 6-2 West Coast, StatRank #48), Bucknell (17-4, 4-1 Patriot, StatRank #43), and Kentucky (13-6, 4-2 SEC, StatRank #70).

The next four out are Florida State (11-8, 3-3 ACC, StatRank #69), Iowa (13-7, 2-5 Big Ten, StatRank #82), Charlotte (16-4, 4-2 A-10, StatRank #51), and Wyoming (15-4, 2-4 Mountain West, StatRank #55).
